The parade is one of the most visible activities in the Observance Day Association, Inc. Calendar of Events . With hundreds of entries, it is a showcase. The parade is for organizations that wish to express thanks and remembrance of the life, philosophy, and works of
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We encourage all to participate, but will limit entries to 325
for the 2027 celebration occurring on
January 18, 2027, at 10:00 AM.
We also solicit volunteers to assist in organizing and staging the parade.
